How To Reach The Village Of Akchour ?

Akchour is a natural wonder located on the road to Oued Laou in the village of Talambot located 33 kilometres from Chefchaouen, a landscape of white-water springs that flow throughout the year in a magnificent lush landscape.
Plan all day to discover this wonderful natural site: walking, swimming, a tagine in an idyllic setting before arriving at the Pont de Dieu. It is a corner of a dream still unspoilt. For all lovers of hiking try the gorges of Akchour.
The majority of tourists choose to make their trips tailor-made to fully enjoy their stay.
Akchour is known for its well-preserved natural landscapes.
The panoramic view consists of green mountains and deep gorges with crystal-clear springs and rivers.
The waterfalls and their surroundings were declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2016 and invite you to experience a unique view.
The path that leads to the waterfalls is of great beauty, well signposted and easy of access for all members of the family.
The first path also leads to another important geographical site, the Pont de Dieu.
Along the way you can see flimsy cane structures and roadside features such as benches that help to give the area a magical aura.
As the road becomes more challenging, the beauty of the area increases by a notch.
The waterfalls get bigger and bigger until you reach the great Akchour waterfall where the water seems to have slowly sculpted a fairy-tale setting of whimsical shapes in the limestone rock.
