TODRA GORGE
With peaks rising up to 300 meters above the Todra which winds away from its beginnings in the High Atlas mountains, the Todra gorge occupies a paramount place in the valley - on the one hand, by protecting the course of the Todra river which feeds the palm groves for several tens of kilometres and on the other hand as a symbolic identity for the population well aware that the geographical position of Tinghir is defined by this unique, natural work of nature.
The gorge is the departure point for many hikes, from walking around for a few hours in the palm groves to treks lasting several days.
