EL HEDIM SQUARE

The El Hedim Square is at the entrance of the medina, alongside its walls. On the other side of the square is the imperial city.

The covered market is located on El Hedim Square.

Stalls extend all around the market. The square is precisely between the old town and the imperial part of the city and houses the covered market which comes alive at dusk.

In the evening, fire-eaters, storytellers, animal trainers and jugglers come to enliven the square, which takes on a whole new aspect.
