LAKE IFNI

Lake Ifni is located in the rural commune of Toubkal in the centre of the High Atlas at the bottom of a valley framed by the summits of the Jbel Toubkal.

The rural commune of Toubkal is administratively attached to the Souss Massa Draa region, Taroudant province, Taliouine circle, Askaoun caiadate.

The population surrounding the lake is made up of Aït Tizgui in the north, Aït Imi n’Tizgui in the centre, Aït Slimane and Aït Telti in the east.

The lake is seductive with its richness and its unique landscape. On its slopes immense forests, interspersed with green valleys, stretch as far as the eye can see.
