LAKE DAIT AOUA

Lake Dait Aoua is a lake in northern Morocco in the Middle Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 1,460m.

It is easily accessed, located 15 kilometres north of Ifrane via the RN 24 Ifrane-Fez, which directly overlooks the lake of 140 ha whose area is variable according to the seasons.

Its depth remains shallow, from four to five meters upstream (west) with a silted downstream part (east), of marshy appearance, which can be completely drained of water during summer.
