Central Market

At the central market of Casablanca, sight and smell are celebrated! It is one of the places to visit if you pass through the city.

Located near the Medina, this temple of simple pleasures brings together Casablancans of all backgrounds between 8a.m. and 3p.m. for a festival of colours and perfumes.

Those staying in an hotel will regret not having the chance to cook any of the products displayed, which are superbly presented and appetising!

Fish and seafood straight out of the ocean, pyramids of fruit and vegetables, armfuls of vibrant and colourful flowers, not to mention an unlimited range of products to awaken all the senses.

On weekends, the entertainment is at its peak under the white arcades surmounted by azulejos. It’s not to be missed!

If you are hungry after testing some of these products, sit on the terrace of one of the restaurants in the area or in the market itself and enjoy a traditional dish, above all fresh fish.

A programme of renovation has commenced at the market to restore it to its original pristine condition.
